Lgcldesigns are Simon & Ed who met in 2007 in the bustling, energetic city of Shanghai, China.

Simon is a product designer and mechanical engineer who has designed everything from off road go-karts to luxury travel amenities. Simon was Made in Taiwan but grew up in Quincy, just outside of Boston, MA.

Ed has used his background in marketing to start a number of businesses in different fields from consulting to social networking. Ed hails from London in the UK and has lived in Shanghai since 2003. 

 
Together, we want to create and bring innovative and logical products to the world - solving problems and making life a little easier.

Our first project crowdfunded successfully in March 2013: SIMPLcase for iPhone 5: the iPhone travel case for international travelers. 

Our Kickstarter Backers will receive the first SIMPLcases during June 2013 - pre-orders are currently available at our lgcldesisns store.

What is Kicking it Forward? It's a public pledge within the Kickstarter community that we, as creators, will pledge at least 5% of our profits - which is money remaining AFTER we have completely fulfilled our promises to our Backers - towards other Kickstarter creators. It's a way of saying that the greater community of creators support each other not only in spirit, but in action.
